Cultivating Gardens, founded in 2013 by Claudia Noble-Levingston, MPA. She is a certified permaculturist, herbal formulator, speaker, workshop facilitator, and Bay-Friendly Gardening Master Composter.
She is a fourth-generation land-steward with deep southern agrarian roots in northern Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Virginia. Her family legacy continues through her passion for reconnecting to the soil and the plants (foods) of her ancestors.
Cultivating Gardens encourages, inspires, and empowers East Bay residents to grow their own fresh herbs, fruits, and vegetables using sustainable organic practices. Cultivating Gardens provide educational workshops that provide hands-on experience for the novice gardener. We help you reaiize your dream of growing your own organic garden right at home in small spaces and containers.
